The Reason This Blog Exists Begins HERE

This article from the Associated Press appearing on the online edition of The Wall Street Journal of November 6, 2012, titled NY Sen. Gillibrand Wins Election For First Full Term is the reason I created this blog!  The Associated Press reporting appears slanted because, Kirsten Gillibrand did not “win (won) the right to finish out the final two years of Clinton’s term” rather she was appointed to succeed to the Senate Seat.  Her’e s a background link from the New York Times worth reading http://www.nytimes.com/2009/01/24/nyregion/24senator.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0

Furthermore, in this article by the Associated Press in the online edition ofThe Wall Street Journal of November 6, 2012 notice “New York City Lawyer” words were used to describe Kirsten Gillibrand’s opponent.  This is important because there appears to be a strong cultural divide in New York between “downstaters” and “upstaters.”  The article, omits Kirsten Gillibrand’s former private sector work, omits any real information on work done by Kirsten Gillibrand to help New Yorkers while in public office and omits facts about the election such as the final voter count and the actual dollars spent by ech candidate http://online.wsj.com/article/AP2b6f6c0010884e2995086815cf7898d3.html
